His family relocated to Madison, AL from St. Louis, Mo in 1997 as part of the BRAC that formed the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) at Redstone Arsenal. After he retired in 2010, he changed careers and joined his wife Diane as a full-time real estate agent with Century 21 Steele & Associates. Together they are top producers for the company.
